Curriculum Vitae
Adrian Foster (CeMAP)
I have been the managing director of Solutions Property Finder Services Limited since March 2007.
I am a qualified mortgage adviser, having passed the CeMAP. Mortgage examinations in May 2000. I also hold an H.N.D. in Agriculture, obtained in July 1979.
Having worked for nine years on a large agricultural estate, I moved to work for a large British Bank. For twenty years I fulfilled several roles in various locations. Most recently, until October 2008, I worked in their estate agency division, winning several awards for customer service and achievement. I advised clients on property appropriate to their needs, giving consideration to their financial situations. Through individual consultations, I ascertained the requirements of the clients and to what extent the bank could fulfil their needs. My priority has always been to give full advice on property ownership, including the cost, suitability and long-term implications of home ownership.
Within my local community, I have held the post of Senior Circuit Steward for the Methodist Church and have been a member of their Bristol District Policy Committee. I have also been a lay representative on the Bristol Synod. I am a trustee of the Olive Branch Counselling Service.
I conduct one-to-one interviews to ascertain the needs of the client and the parameters within which we must work. Following this, a search is made for the most suitable property within the brief provided. If required, I then accompany the client on a visit to the property, after which I complete a full written report of my findings.

I am a specialist property search consultant for Solutions Property Finder Services Limited working with clients who have acquired brain or spinal injuries.
In my current role I conduct interviews with either my clients or their advocates to ascertain client’s needs and preferences. Combining these ‘soft’ requirements with the brief provided by the instructing solicitor or case manager I then endeavour to find the clients a home that is either suitable or has potential for adaptation. I then prepare a full written report for the Court with recommendations relating to the most suitable properties and indicating the appropriate current price for such a property.
My early working life saw me travelling across Europe cooking for clients in private residence and ski chalets using my diploma from Leiths School of Food and Wine. On returning to the UK I became the in-house hostess working for Harvey Goldsmith entertainments catering to the planning committees for Live Aid. I then joined Halifax Estate Agents firstly in residential lettings and later as a mortgage advisor. During my time working for Halifax in lettings I gained an ARLA 2000 qualification which enabled me to become an individual member of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents) and I then gained my Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice. When Halifax Estate Agents closed I was moved to HBOS within the bank which involved less autonomy and less humanity and I left to pursue my new career at Solutions.
I hold an Honours degree from the Open University in Social Science. My main hobby for the past 20 years has been property development and I consequently have a good working knowledge of the construction and renovation of property.
I joined Solutions PFS in 2009 and feel that I finally managed to combine all my skills and interests. My Open University degree stemmed from an interest in Social Science aroused by having family members with disabilities During my skiing days I became involved with a charity for spinally injured skiers and later whilst working for Harvey Goldsmith Entertainments I volunteered to be the ‘disability advocate’ ensuring disabled concert-goers obtained the most accessible seats with the best views!
I pride myself on providing a personal, friendly service to clients who are often stressed and in need of reassurance whilst providing a full and through report to the Court.
Reuben Obery BA Hons
I attended Regents Theological College after completing my internship year and graduated in 2021 with an upper second-class Batchelor of Arts degree in Theology and Church Leadership from the University of Chester. Currently, I am a Vicar in Training and have 2 years before being ordained. This includes preaching, leading funerals, weddings, meeting the needs of the community. Additionally, I am involved in Youth, Children and Family work contributing significantly to the development of the young people and young families. After Theological College I worked with Yatton Methodist Church in North Somerset developing the IT and digital presence within the community. This included creating promotional videos, graphic design, and website development.
In August 2022, I started working for Solutions Property Finder Services alongside my training to become a Vicar. My expertise in IT will ensure that SPFS stays current with emerging technologies in the industry. For clients, property searches and report compilation will be more economical and effective. I’ve successfully completed multiple, million-pound property searches which requires me to pay close attention to the unique requirements of each client. I ensure that I am aware of both micro and macro details that are pertinent to the circumstances of each client. In doing so, this tailors property searches for them based on their unique needs and preference. In addition to providing each client with a realistic search strategy, I keep the client appraised of the current market and at times, have to address expectations they may have, that are unattainable in the current property. I approach problem-solving in a strategic manner while maintaining flexibility to overcome any obstacles. I gather the negotiable and non-negotiable facts to help guide every client though the process of finding a property.
My hobbies are photography, running, and playing drums and guitar.
